Calibration/Re-Calibration

If you are ISO-9000 or QS-9000 certified, then keeping your Tenma test equipment calibrated to NIST standards is of the utmost importance. SPC Technology provides quality calibration services to help you stay in compliance.

Tenma test equipment can be purchased from Newark InOne, with or without calibration. If you purchase a Tenma item that is calibrated, the calibration certificate will be effective for one year from the date of purchase. Your product should be re-calibrated before the end of the one year calibration period to ensure compliance. If you bought an uncalibrated product, it is not too late to obtain calibration.

In-Warranty Repair

Tenma test equipment is warranted against any defects in workmanship or material for a period of one year, from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. SPC Technology, at its option, will either repair or replace any defective instrument or component still under warranty. This warranty does not apply to fuses, batteries, lead wires, probes and other accessories or any product which, in SPC Technology's opinion, has been subjected to misuse or alteration. The customer's record of warranty (proof of purchase) should be retained for the length of the stated warranty period.

To obtain service during the warranty period, contact SPC Technology at, 1-888-SPC TECH (1-888-772-8324) or use our online Tech Support form for authorization and instructions to return the product. A copy of the customer's proof of purchase and a statement regarding the nature of the defect should accompany each returned item.

Out-of-Warranty Repair

If your Tenma test equipment is out of warranty and needs repair, then we recommend you contact R & R Instrumentation, a leader in the test equipment repair service industry.  Experienced R & R Instrumentation technicians will evaluate the instrument to generate a quotation for parts and labor to repair the unit. The quotation will be sent to you for your approval before any work is done. Be ready to provide the model number, description of the unit, and the service you would like performed.
